     I would like to thank everyone at Eddy Creek Stables for the wonderful job they did
starting and training my young horse. In the short time they had him they turned a green
broke colt into an excellent trail horse. I believe that a horse trained at Eddy creek
Stables is prepared for anything you will encounter on the trail. Their approach to
training is non-violent and in no way abusive. Their vast knowledge of different training
techniques allows them to prevent problems before they occur. The goal at Eddy Creek
Stables is to train safe, reliable trail horses. In my experience with them they
certainly have attained that goal. The staff at Eddy Creek are extremely patient, friendly
and honest people. I will not hesitate to bring my horses to them in the future.

Horse Training

    A few years ago I had brought my big quarter horse named Killian to come and see you. Killian had gotten so herd bound and a really bad attitude (he was unpredictable) . He would buck people off and run back to the barn. I had gotten a little scared of him and was thinking of selling him. I figured I would give him one last chance. I had heard of the training at Eddy Creek Stables and thought I would give him a chance. I explained all the things he was doing and they said don't worry he will be a different horse. When I went and picked him up, they were right. He was a different horse. They did some miracle work on him and I couldn't thank them enough for all the hard work they had done. Killian was also trained to pull a dead deer from behind and also shoot off of him with a rifle. He would listen to what you were asking him to do and his attitude was gone. It was great to have a horse like that, that would respond to what you wanted him to do.

    A few days ago I was on my way out to a trainers with my 5 year old TB who was showing some of the similar sign that Killian did. She was very herd bound, couldn't take her out riding by herself and would throw a tantrum, buck and etc when she didn't get her way. I had gotten a little intimidated by her as she is 16.2 hands and she had no respect for the rider. she was the one in charge. When my husband and I were driving out to the trainers I thought it looked familiar. When I got there I could have almost cried when I realized that Richard and Tammy were the ones that worked on Killian. I know my horses are in good hands when they are at their stables. Richard and Tammy are miracle workers. They have taken my two problem children and made them into angels to ride. I just can't thank you enough and I am looking forward to getting Faith back and having a good riding relationship with her.
